Terms & Conditions

General Terms

1. All items are hired, not sold. Ownership remains with Hue Design Studio at all times.

2. Prices quoted are valid until the due date shown on your invoice.

3. No booking holds are made during the quotation period. Full payment is required to confirm your hire.

4. Hire periods are as stated on your invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. All quoted rates include hire for the agreed duration only; additional fees apply for extended hire or late return. 

Payment & Bond

1. Full payment and a refundable security deposit are required to secure your booking.

2. The security deposit will be refunded once all items have been returned in satisfactory  and original condition, subject to inspection.

3. Hue Design Studio reserves the right to deduct repair, cleaning, or replacement costs from the security deposit if items are returned damaged, dirty, or incomplete.

Care, Use & Responsibility

1. Once items are collected or delivered, full responsibility and risk pass to the hirer.

2. The hirer is responsible for ensuring all items are used safely, appropriately, and for their intended purpose.

3. Items must be kept dry, protected from weather exposure, and transported in an enclosed vehicle or trailer.

4. Under no circumstances may any hire item be altered, modified, painted, or permanently fixed (e.g., screws, hooks, nails, adhesives).

5. All items must be returned clean, dry, and in the same condition they were provided. Cleaning fees will apply if returned otherwise.

Champagne Tower Disclaimer

1. Hue Design Studio accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the setup or use of champagne towers.

2. The hirer assumes full responsibility for handling, stacking, and using glassware safely.

3. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that champagne towers are assembled on stable, level surfaces at all times.

4. When using plinths or stands, these must also be placed on firm, level ground to support safe setup.

5. Setup guides are provided as a general reference only; it is the hirer’s duty to ensure safe and stable assembly.

6. Any spillage, breakage, or accident occurring during or after setup remains the full responsibility of the hirer.

7. Hue Design Studio reserves the right to deduct the cost of replacement from the security deposit if glassware is returned broken, chipped, or missing.

Plinths, Pots & Trolleys

1. All plinths, pots, and trolleys must be handled with care and positioned on stable, level surfaces.

2. Avoid dragging or rolling items across rough ground to prevent surface damage.

3. Pots and plinths are for decorative use only and not to bear excessive weight or be used for climbing, leaning, or sitting.

4. Trolleys must be used for transport purposes only, not as display or seating structures.

5. Any damage, cracks, or instability observed upon collection or delivery must be reported immediately before use.

Delivery, Collection & After-Hours Service

1. Standard contactless collection and return hours are between 8.00am to 8.00pm.

2. After-hour requests or anticipated delays in return must be communicated to Hue Design Studio as soon as possible.

3. If items are not returned at the agreed time and date, a daily hire fee or penalty may apply.

4. Such fees will be deducted from the security deposit, and additional charges may be invoiced if the security deposit does not cover the full amount.

Damages, Loss & Theft

1. The hirer is financially responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

2. Replacement costs are based on full retail value plus associated fees.

3. Hue Design Studio will issue a replacement or repair invoice payable within 3 business days.

4. In cases of total loss or damage, the security deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations & Refunds

1. Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date will receive a full refund.

2. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund.

3. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.

4. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Media Use

1. Hue Design Studio may request permission to use event photos or related imagery for marketing purposes.

2. By providing such photos, you grant permission for Hue Design Studio to use, modify, and distribute them across social media, print, and digital platforms.

Liability

1. Hue Design Studio will not be held responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use, misuse, or mishandling of hire items.

2. All responsibility rests with the hirer once items are collected or delivered.

3. By proceeding with payment, the hirer acknowledges and agrees to all terms listed above.
